HEROES

April 2020

Heroes don’t always wear capes. We all know that. However, in my eyes these people listed just might have superpowers.

Momma Drape- You always know what to say and what not to say. I don’t know how you do it. A mom, a coach, a supporter, a wife, a sister, a teammate, an employee, a woman of God, and much much, much more that I don’t have room for. But what I can say about you is that you are fearless in all that you do and always know how to get stuff done. It is insanely impressive and something I try to emulate. You have a ton on your plate and seem to do an amazing job juggling it all. What a mom you are… that is it. Just a reminder of how much I love you and appreciate all that you do for me and this family. Love you <3

Coach Drape- Coach! Yep, you read that right. You have sadly never coached me in a sport, however, you have coached me up on life more than just about anyone. You always have the best advice and if you can’t give me it, you find a way to get me in touch with someone who can. Dad, you have been here for me throughout my whole life and I would be lost without you. Be safe. Love u.

Bubby- Your turn. Oh, wait we never share anything haha. Growing up with you has been the absolute best. I did not realize that brothers don’t treat sisters like you treat me. Boys suck. But not you because you are a ‘bubby’ and we all know what that means. You are insanely good at just about everything you do and somehow always seem to be humble. I don’t know how momma and dad left any talent or looks for me, they seemed to give you all of it. But, either way, you are my hero and I think you know it. You always blow me away and I know in my heart you will continue to do that. You may be starting a new chapter of your life, but dang what a lead up to this. Always remember, home is where the ankle rolls. I love you!

No, y’all can’t read minds, or fly, or teleport, however, you are my heroes and also are my amazing family. What a joy it is to be included in the DRAPE FAM.
